The Bible calls the first ten percent of our income the tithe. God says it is holy and it is His. It is His way of testing us to see if we will be faithful and it is also our way to test Him. If fact, He actually commands us to do so! Malachi 3:10 says, ” ‘Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.’ “
