Our Core Values
At Crossroads Church, we have ten core values that drive our mission to reach people at the crossroads of life.
(1) Obey The Word
Do I believe there’s no truth but God’s truth?
2 Timothy 3:16, All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
(2) Embody Worship
Do I live on Monday what I sing on Sunday?
Revelation 4:11, You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
(3)Embrace Discipleship
Am I a fan or a follower?
Matthew 28:19, Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
(4) Prioritize Family
Am I giving the best of me or what’s left of me?
Proverbs 22:6, Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn away from it.
(5) Live Evangelism
Do people meet Jesus when they meet me?
Mark 16:15, And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
(6) Uphold Honor
Do I respect the dignity of God’s diverse creation?
Romans 13:7, If you owe someone honor, honor that person.
(7) Celebrate Diversity
Do people have to look like me to be loved by me?
(8) Practice Stewardship – Can God trust me?
1 Corinthians 4:2, …it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.
(9) Cultivate Community – Am I seclusive or inclusive?
