Outreach

We believe that every Christ-follower is called to be a missionary. Whether God calls you to share the gospel at home, at work, or in another country, we want to empower you to obey His calling on your life. We always have missions opportunities available. From traveling across the world on a Missions Experience trip to traveling across the street to tutor kids after school, we have an opportunity for you!

Missions Experience Trips

We offer trips where you can experience life and ministry in another culture. You will learn from incredible missionaries and local leaders, and you will come home with a greater understanding of the gospel.

Local Outreach

We partner with local organizations that specialize in different areas of outreach: after-school tutoring, prison ministry, and resources for domestic violence survivors, to name a few. You will get to learn from our amazing partners as you carry out the Great Commission in a local context.

Missionary Care

Understanding that missions is a partnership between the church and the missionary, we desire to give our church the opportunity to be a blessing to the missionaries we support. Whether you want to send an encouraging letter, mail a care package full of favorite treats, or offer to cook a meal for visiting missionaries, we want to help you serve our missionaries in a way that is most needed!

COMMON QUESTIONS

How much does a Missions Experience cost?
The cost depends on the trip’s destination. We understand the financial sacrifice that is required, so we will organize at least one group fundraiser and we will equip you with additional fundraising ideas to help offset these expenses.
How old does a child have to be to participate in a Missions Experience?
Generally children must be 14 to go on a trip without a parent/guardian, and children as young as 7 can go as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. However, age requirements vary according to the trip destination and the maturity of the child.
Can children participate in Crosstown?
Absolutely! So long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian, children of all ages are welcome at Crosstown. They will enjoy making friends with the other kids, and they will get to learn how God can use all ages to share Jesus in their community.
