Special Guest // Denny Duron

Pastor Denny is not only a respected national leader, coach and the senior pastor of Shreveport Community Church in Shreveport, Louisiana—he is also our pastor’s pastor, serving as a spiritual mentor and covering to Pastor Jeff Ables.

Denny Duron is a dynamic communicator whose life uniquely blends athletic accomplishment, pastoral leadership and a deep commitment to discipleship. A former record-setting quarterback at Louisiana Tech University, he helped secure back-to-back national championships in 1972 and 1973 before moving into professional football. Eventually, God led him into full-time ministry, where he has spent decades pastoring, leading, mentoring young leaders and shaping Christian education through Evangel Christian Academy.

Known for his passionate preaching, prophetic insight and ability to awaken purpose in people of all ages, Pastor Denny brings a message that is both deeply spiritual and intensely practical.
