In Matthew 24:14 Jesus said, “This Good News about the kingdom will be spread throughout the world as a testimony to all nations.” God has called us to advance the Kingdom of Heaven. Kingdom Builders is a financial initiative here at Crossroads Church designed to help us answer that call. Where our tithes support the local church and its mission, Kingdom Builders helps fund Kingdom projects globally, locally and generationally.
The Kingdom Builders initiative will target special projects that impact thousands of people globally and in our own community as well as helping to reach, train and equip the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom of God.
Our global impact will focus on worldwide projects that provide humanitarian aid, assist our missionaries with their ministries, and present the gospel to those who have never heard about God’s amazing grace.
PROJECT ONE:
We will partner with Watoto in Uganda to fund one of their Neighborhood Mothers Programs, which equips single mothers with vocational skills and assists their families’ immediate needs while they are being discipled and empowered to care for their own children and communities.
PROJECT TWO:
We will partner with Kufikia International to drill water wells that not only save lives but create community centers, setting the stage for evangelism and discipleship in Kenya.
PROJECT THREE:
We will partner with King’s Castle in El Salvador to train up and send Salvadoran missionary interns to reach and disciple people around the world
PROJECT FOUR:
We will partner with Fire Bible to translate the Bible and commentaries into the language of the Akha people of northern Asia. This will provide the sacred scripture in the heart language of this large people group for the very first time.
Our local impact will focus on meeting the needs of the underserved in Acadiana while responsibly reducing our church’s debt, allowing us to spread The Gospel like never before.
PROJECT ONE:
We will partner with Gifting Grace to provide much-needed supplies to homeless students in our local parishes.
PROJECT TWO:
We will partner with our local food bank to meet the immediate food needs of individuals and families in our community.
PROJECT THREE:
We will partner with Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge to improve their rehabilitation facilities, helping more individuals find freedom from drug and alcohol addiction.
PROJECT FOUR:
We will reduce the principal on our loan with the goal of becoming debt-free by 2031.
Our generational impact will focus on projects that assist in raising up the next generation of leaders and world changers through disipleship, training and outreach.
PROJECT ONE:
We will partner with the Louisiana Assemblies of God to expand Twin Lakes Camp, which impacts thousands of children each year through its camping programs.
PROJECT TWO:
We will invest in the training of our CLC students that God is bringing to us from across the country, preparing them to be the next generation of pastors, youth pastors, children’s pastors, worship leaders and missionaries.
PROJECT THREE:
We will partner with InnerFaith Prison Ministry and their Little Lambs program that provide services and assistance to the children of incarcerated adults here in Louisiana, decreasing the likelihood that these children will end up incarcerated themselves.
