National Day Of Prayer

Local Community Events

On May 2nd, Christians of all denominations, from all across America, will come together to seek the heart of God in prayer. We would like to encourage you to participate in one of the many community prayer events happening in Acadiana. We have provided a few option below:

Carencro, LA

Organizers will host the 11th National Day of Prayer ceremony from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Carencro Community Center located at 5115 N. University in Carencro. Lunch and desserts are provided for all to enjoy. Don’s Specialty Meats in Carencro, Super 1 Foods, and the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Catholic Daughters are working together this year to provide the food for all in attendance.

Lafayette, LA

Lafayette will be celebrating the National Day of Prayer at noon. The previous location was in Moncus Park in Lafayette, however, this year it has been moved to Girard Park under the pavillion.

Scott, LA

The city will celebrate the 28th year of the Scott National Day of
Prayer. A jambalaya lunch will be provided, and the event will be at the Scott Event Center at 110 Lion’s Club Road from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
