Flags have a significant role in our lives. Whether we are reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at a town hall meeting or watching our favorite team get penalized on the football field, flags have such a prominent role in our day-to-day, they have become metaphorical for all kinds of things. We flag someone down for a ride, we flag email addresses we hope to keep out of our inboxes and when we don’t feel good about something we refer to it as a red flag! Many of these metaphors correlate well with important scriptural principles, so through this message series we intend to raise the flag on some things that really matter.
